Sialendoscopy

Sialendoscopy

Recurrent salivary blockage causes pain that usually occurs with eating. For those patients who have been told to “live with it,” sialendoscopy may be their answer. Dr. Golgert received training from the European experts of this technique and brought the procedure to Santa Barbara in 2008. She has provided many patients relief. Balloon Sinuplasty

Balloon Sinuplasty

Chronic and recurrent sinusitis can be a very frustrating and debilitating condition. Patients are initially treated with medical therapy, but when this fails, surgical procedures are often the next step. Fortunately, there is now a new option offered in Dr. Golgert’s office that can be performed under local anesthesia in the office with very quick recovery. Most patients return to their usual activities the next day. Click here for more information.

Stroboscopy

Stroboscopy

Hoarseness can occur at any age and for various reasons. These can include vocal cord nodules, cysts, hemorrhage, tumors, polyps, loss of volume or vocal cord paralysis. Dr. Golgert is pleased to now offer stroboscopy to more effectively assess the vocal cords. This amazing technology allows very detailed visualization of the movement of the vocal cords.
